How are my international investments protected?

DIY Offshore only works with companies with high levels of consumer protection. For example, investors in the Isle of Man are protected by the Isle of Man Life Assurance (Compensation of Policyholders) Regulations 1991 to provide a guarantee for policyholders of up to 90% of the amount under any policy. In the unlikely event that a life company were to struggle financially, or go bankrupt, investor's assets are fully segregated from the firm's operating funds. Investor's money cannot be used to satisfy the claims of creditors in the event of insolvency.
